On the Western Australia-Qingdao route, NYK was heard seeking a Capesize vessel from Dampier to Qingdao for January 1-10 laycan. BHP was heard seeking a Capesize vessel from Port Hedland to Qingdao for January 5-7 laycan, bidding at $7.50/wmt against offers seen at $7.75/wmt. It was later heard to have fixed a Capesize vessel on the route, at $7.50/wmt
